Dying Matters Awareness Week 2025

Each year, Hospice UK organises Dying Matters Awareness Week to encourage people to have open conversations about death, dying and grief. The theme for this year’s campaign, which takes place from 5 to 11 May, is ‘The Culture of Dying Matters’.

5 May 2025

We believe that EVERYONE with a life-limiting illness – no matter their background or beliefs – should be able to access quality care at the end of their life. So, all this week on our social media channels, we’ll be sharing more about how we’re making end-of-life care more accessible to everyone through a programme of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) projects.

Elsewhere on the Katharine House Hospice website we also have:

Katharine House Hospice

Katharine House supports people affected by life-limiting illnesses, from diagnosis to end of life, providing holistic care that considers the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of a patient and their family and aiming to help people make the most of the time they have left and create quality memories with their loved ones.
