Dying Matters Awareness Week 2025
5 May 2025
We believe that EVERYONE with a life-limiting illness – no matter their background or beliefs – should be able to access quality care at the end of their life. So, all this week on our social media channels, we’ll be sharing more about how we’re making end-of-life care more accessible to everyone through a programme of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) projects.

Elsewhere on the Katharine House Hospice website we also have:
- an interview with Nicole, our Palliative Care Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, where you can find out more about her role and why it’s so important to get end-of-life care right for people who have been marginalised throughout their lives
- you can read about our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion projects in the latest issue of The Rose magazine
- and also in the latest edition of The Rose magazine there is information about Dying Matters Awareness Week, with a special emphasis on talking about dying.
