Donating items to our shops

Donating your quality unwanted items to our shops is a great way to help us raise money so we can carry on looking after people in our community.

Your donations to our shops raise over £250,000 every year for the hospice. Thank you for your support.

Donation days

We accept donations between 10am and 3.30pm on the following days.

• Banbury (Bridge Street): Mon–Sat
• Banbury (8a Hillview Crescent, OX16 1DN): open for donations only, Mon–Fri
• Bicester (12 Market Square, OX26 6AD): Mon–Sat
• Brackley (19 Market Place, NN13 7AB): Mon–Sat. We regret that we’re unable to take large donations of CDs and DVDs.
• Chipping Norton (8 West Street, OX7 5AA): Mon–Sat
• Moreton-in-Marsh (25 High Street, GL56 0AF): Tue–Sat
• Shipston-on-Stour (4 Sheep Street, CV36 4AF): Mon–Sat

Banbury donations drop-off point, Hillview (8a Hillview Crescent, OX16 1DN)

This shop has now closed. From September, Hillview is only a donation drop-off point and we will be running our online operation from here as well.

Please note

• Please take any donations you have to your nearest shop on the days and times stated. Thank you.
• To save any disappointment, it’s advisable to call ahead first to make sure we have the space available. We advise this because the space is limited in each shop. So although we’ve given a window of 10am–3.30pm for donations, it’s a case of when we’re full we’re full, and we will unfortunately have to refuse any donations on the grounds of health and safety when we reach that point.
• So please call ahead first, or drop your donations off earlier rather than later on the days stated. For full opening times and contact details, please see our shops page.

What you can donate

We’re looking for the following items:

• Clothing
• Bric-a-brac
• Linens
• CDs and DVDs
• Books

If you have something a bit different to donate, which isn’t listed above, please feel free to contact your local shop once they’re open again and they’ll be happy to help.

What we can’t accept

Unfortunately we’re unable to accept electrical items or any furniture.

eBay shop

Remember that we also have an eBay shop too, which stocks many items of clothing, toys and other delights.
