Visiting times at Katharine House Hospice
We always welcome visitors to Katharine House Hospice.
If you have a relative or friend staying in the Inpatient Unit, they can have any two visitors with them at any one time between 8am and 8pm. However, they don’t have to be the same two visitors throughout the day.
The Garden Cafe
We know that our visitors sometimes need a break, so please feel free to pop down to the Garden Cafe for cofee, cake or a light bite to eat.
- Opening hours: 8.30am–3.45pm, Monday–Friday.
The hospice gardens
Katharine House Hospice has the most beautiful garden, which is open to patients and their familiy and friends at all times. Designed by Jane Fearnley-Whittingstall in memory of Simon Weatherby and lovingly maintained by our gardener volunteers, you are free to wander around it and enjoy beautiful views from various benches scattered around the garden. You can access the gardens directly from the Inpatient Unit or walk around the outside of the hospice building.
