Gardener Volunteers
If you enjoy the outdoors and gardening, or want to put your green fingers to good use, why not help maintain the hospice’s beautiful grounds?
The role
You will provide general maintenance for the hospice garden, planting, pruning, tending to the lawn and allotment, as well as gathering in the produce. You will be required to maintain the hedges and assist with any general maintenance activity that may arise in the garden on a weekly or monthly basis.
We ask you to support community groups that come to volunteer at Katharine House.
You will need to be available on a Thursday.
It is preferable that you have a RHS qualification and/or relevant experience, but this is not essential and full training will be given. You should have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as a team, but also feel comfortable working independently.
