Volunteer Patient Needlecrafter
Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting and/or sewing and have you got some spare time to use these skills to make specific items for us? If so, we would be delighted to hear from you.
The role
We’re looking for experienced needlecrafters (knitting, crocheting and/or sewing) to create quality handcrafted items to specific Katharine House Hospice requirements to meet the needs of patients both in the hospice and in the community.
We’re looking for proven skills in at least one of these crafts and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to create specific items for the hospice.
By volunteering for Katharine House, you will be helping us make every moment matter for our patients and their loved ones. We can’t do what we do without you. In addition to making a difference, you can expect to gain or enhance the following:
- Satisfaction of giving back and supporting our hospice.
- The friendship and team spirit associated with being part of the Katharine House volunteer family, including a welcome invitation to the hospice and a twice yearly invite to a volunteer thank you event.
